Ingredients
  

  • cups bread flour
  • tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup additional melted butter for brushing
Optional Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tbsp heavy cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let bloom.
  2. Add eggs, flour, salt, and butter. Mix and knead until smooth.
  3. Let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Roll out dough, cut into 1-inch wide strips (leave base intact), brush with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Accordion-fold into greased loaf pan. Let rise 30 mins.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool 10 mins and drizzle with glaze if using.

Notes

  • Tent with foil if the top browns too fast.
  • Always cool before slicing for best structure.
  • Store at room temp for 2 days or freeze up to 2 months.
